My name is LG, a woman in her twenties who enjoys matcha a little too much. This is Elah Matcha. I've been passionate about matcha since my high school years and have cherished it with my besties for years. After so many delightful matcha moments, I decided it was time to build something of my own around this amazing plant. After many discoveries about its benefits and traditions, my respect and love grew even more.

Being dedicated to living a healthy life, I've spent a lot of time finding the best matcha but the best can only be fully organic. Too many brands seem to ignore the concern of long-term effects. Pesticides are and will always be harmful to the earth, but even more so to humans. That is why my goal isn't just enjoying matcha, but making sure its essence is fully respected and that starts with a healthy environment to help grow healthy, pesticide-free plants.

The disappointment doesn't stop at pesticides it carries on all the way to our food and beverage shops, whose sole interest is quantity over quality. Many different cultivars exist across favorable regions in Japan, offering the best soils and shading for growing high-quality matcha.
